building on bond

All I can say is I spent the Apocalypse of 2011 here, sitting outside at one of their lovely tables eating crispy french fries and sipping on one of BoB’s delicious cocktails. If the world had to end that day, I would have been happy with my last meal there.

yerba buena

I’ve been to both locations of Yerba Buena a few times and unfortunately I’ve had very mixed experiences. The most recent was for brunch at YB Perry St where my friends and I flanked by two drunkenly debaucherous parties of 10. We could barely hear each other and the drinks weren’t that strong. That said, I have enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Ave. A location.

If you’re in the neighborhood of either location and it’s happy hour time, I’d stop in for an inventive cocktail — if you can get a seat.
